Character copying collecting main who on a side in the InterNet Chinese indications to insert would like, can this on two to different ways to do: Either with a program for the Chinese text processing the characters are entered directly into the source text of the side, or copied from a diagram program as finished picture usually in the GIF format. (The direct input of Chinese indications via Unicode is naturally also still possible, appears to some however as too pedantic and usually requires a modern computer system.)
In the first case the language choice of the Browsers must agree still
with the coding of the program for the Chinese text processing, so that
the desired indications appear on the screen; besides it should be still
indicated in the Metatext of the source text whether the related indications
are held as long characters as abbreviations in the Guobiao-code
or in the traditional variant in the BIG5-Code.
These pre-setting decides then whether the Chinese characters are readable
or are only represented as gaps or question marks at the screen.
Different it is with the second method. A GIF is interpreted everywhere of all computers independently of the respective pre-setting as exactly the same picture, which is shown also on the screen of the computer, in which the original side developed. On my sides there is that GIFs, which is offered by the On-line Chinese Tools (http://www.mandarintools.com) as compressed file as copying collecting main (see: http://www.mandarintools.com/download/unigif.tgz). The characters were grouped unpacked by me into individual files and after the Kangxi radicals.
Here all can provide themselves a copy, which have not their own program for the Chinese text processing or look for simply a finished picture. When working with LINUX or WINDOWS one gel-confines the pointer of mouse on an indication, it requires only a click with the right mouse button, in order to copy the character into the main memory (COPYING on the right mouse button corresponds to the instruction), from which it can be imported later into any program (INSERTING on the right mouse button corresponds to the instruction).
The selection of characters can naturally lay no claim on completeness; nevertheless over 19,000 characters Mandarin Tools cover nevertheless an important portion of the general basic vocabulary, which appears in many classical texts. The legibility of some indications is insufficiently almost unreasonable, every now and then, but can be applied the character code of the source text even to more readable GIFs, which originate from other sources, since the coding corresponds to the international standard. (To the complete legibility of individual characters it is important that the zoom shot factor of their Browsers is switched to 100 per cent, there with smaller pre-setting whole parts are lost.)
